★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a nice surf shop (and that’s coming from someone in Australia). I think her name was Marie/Maria, she was super helpful to find me a wetsuit and just overall a overly person. Great vibes in the shop & the silver jewellery collection was beautiful too??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow such an incredible shop! Catarina was very helpful in finding me a cool present for my brother's birthday. The t shirts were folded perfect and had super cool designs!!!! The other staff were super friendly I will back to buy a surfboard soon! Their collection is world class.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would have given zero stars if I could today. Just went to the shop to buy a surfboard and a pretty expensive board bag. Waited 20 minutes at the cash counter to pay. No one cared. One employee was flirting with a blond girl the other was busy in the store. They saw me waiting but didn't care. So I left the stuff on the counter and left the shop. I went to rip curl instead and in the end they even gave me a discount because I spent a lot of money. Sorry guys. Not sure if you Portuguese people are to proud to serve customers or just unfriendly. That's not how you earn money..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very unfriendly and extremely poor service. The woman who seems to be in charge of the shop is very rude and cannot explain things properly. I had a problem with my wetsuit and did not understand any of her explanations, since asking her politely to repeat them was almost an offence for her. It is very unfortunate that I bought there my Ripcurl wetsuit, since they did not help me at all with the problems I had with the lock. They sent the wetsuit to the Despomar Department (apparently their partners) and did not fix it. When I got the wetsuit back two weeks later, it showed the same problem with the lock. I contacted them again and they insisted that the wetsuit was fixed, although the lock was broken and would not close at all. I was very frustrated and had to contact the Ripcurl customer centre in France to get another solution.
I recommend you to stay away from this shop, specially if you are unlucky enough to have a problem with one of the products they sell.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can't recommend to go to this shop. On Sunday I brought my brandnew surfboard (it's only ten days old) there to get the finbox fixed. Four days later I received it with a broken nose and no one had even told me about it. Once I arrived at the shop and asked them what happened, they pretended that they didn't know anything. Since they were responsible for the damage, I asked them to fix it. However, when I finally got my board back, they expected me to pay the full price of the initial repair. Because of their imprudence my board lost its value and as a supposedly professional surfshop, I would have expected them to be cooperative and reduce the cost. Yet, they started yelling at me in the shop when I tried to explain them that making me pay the full price is not fair. After a long and tiring debate full of poor excuses, they only reduced the bill from 60€ to 45€, a difference of 15€ that doesn't compensate for the value loss of my board. Generally, the staff was very impolite, literally rude. Their behaviour was more than just ridiculous - the staff made it look as if the situation was my fault and I was simply told that there was nothing they could do about the price.
