The service is also “traditional”. The couple - the cooker and the waiter - are so unbelievably nice. You can’t not like them! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very typical Portuguese cuisine! We made a stop in Montemor-o-novo on our way into the Alentejo. The A Adega was a great choice for lunch. Staying with four, we had Carne de Porco Alentejano and the Espetada de Frango, both was very delicious and came in big portions. The white house wine, served in 1 liter jugs, is of very good quality and an excellent companion. Finishing the meal with Queijo de Ovelha with cinnamon topping and a glass of bagaçeira would be a good advice. We've been living in Portugal for quite some years and are always happy to discover small restaurants like this when now on vacation.
