Fantastic little place in the centre of town. Cakes and pastel de natas are great, coffee excellent and staff lovely. We came here most days during our trip to Cascais!

So, this place was recommended to us by our tour guide, he referred to the 'pestal da nata' served here as probably the best in Portugal. So, of course we had to try, the shop is humble and clean, staff was friendly, really good coffee, hot chocolate and amazing pestal da nata. Would be back if I am in Cascais again, do try!

Busy with locals - excellent coffee and try a slice of "Jesuit" almond treat or a "broa" bite - absolutely yummy as full of the best ingredients and obviously made with love.

I was sitting here this morning and writing a post on International Women's Day. I am on an intermittent fasting diet, so wanted to consume food or coffee only after noon, so had my own cup of hot medicinal water, when the staff approached me I said I'm working on something and will order coffee a bit later. After writing my article, I got up to look at the pictures of different sizes of coffee on the wall and order a coffee, the owner asks to speak with me and asks me to leave. I responded saying I was just to going to order something and he insists that I leave, the staff already spoke with me and he's going to ask me to leave, he didn't want to hear what I had to say. This is how a woman was treated on International Woman's Day in this very patriarchal Portuguese establishment. Shame on you!
