Situado a poucos metros da zona histórica de Ourém, Igreja Matriz, Casa do Administrador (actualmente Museu Municipal), Hospital velho (Fundação Agostinho de Almeida), o restaurante A Botica, com longos anos de história, abriu novamente, mantendo a tradicional sala e oferecendo aos seus clientes e amigos, novos espaços para que possam degustar a excelente cozinha tradicional assim como novos pratos contemporâneos, sempre acompanhados com os vinhos da garrafeira particular, de todas as regiões do pais e seleccionados pelos melhores enólogos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot, recently renovated, nice decor and ambiance. Out of the box dish concepts and the food is extremely tasty. (compliments to the chef). Wine selection is good. Fancy place, nice for a romantic dinner. The biggest fail is the absence of any (!) vegetarian options!! Staff was very friendly and professional.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The space is very comfortable. However, we waited half an hour, for no reason! We had a reservation and we could see our empty table but no reason was given as to why were had been waiting.
Food was served well, unfortunately we waited 2 HOURS to eat! We had asked for soup as a starter and that took ONE HOUR!!
I am sorry to say that I will not return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A little place with a very nice touch. You are greeted by the staff with a glass of champagne. Then you are presented with the menu (also option in English) that it's not that big but it's more than enough. Food come in good portions, very tasty (good combinations but for e.g for.meat tell the staff how you want it cooked) and staff is always asking if you are ok. Overall, is a great experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From the arrival to the exit the service is very nice and efficient! The food is really great, with a interesting and diverse menu as well as a good choice of wines! All this for an affordable price! What else to ask!? If you come by town you should definitely try it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an elegant restaurant in Ourém near Fatima. This beautiful restaurant offers delicious multi courses of cheeses, meat, fish, and vegetables. The desserts are mouth watering, especially Pineapple Flambe Chocolate Bailey, and Whiskey Cake. The local house red wine and sparkling Sangria is superb. Although I loved everything my favorite dishes included Cod "Althiera", cod and giant prawn, veal chop, and of course the Whiskey Cake! I ate there 4 times during my 9 day stay. The service is respectful, warm and inviting.
