★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem. Excellent food and fantastic service. The owner was friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic and well priced. FYI wine for one equaled close to a bottle ?? . Highly recommended if you find yourself in Lisbon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent local place by a local college. No English spoken but got by with Spanish. Started off with bread and cheese, half a liter of red wine, and three entrees (pork belly, fish and beef/fried potatoes) and it cost our group
of 3 about 25 euros total! Great value and an authentic lunch experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The great bargain in eating. Best value of my month in Europe. Food is not fancy, but good home cooking. Only one waiter spoke English. Use Google translate if he is not around. Inexpensive wine, beer, food and coffee. Can be wild, though funny when busy. If having a waiter place you next to strangers or having the waiter pat your back is too much, then maybe this place is not for you. Good desert too.
