★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I arrived Porto first day and tried this restaurant which is next to our hotel. The quality of foods are good and the service is excellent. Although English is not their mother language and try to explain the details of menu. Recommend to u if travel in Porto.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best food experience in Porto.
We had Bacalhau croquettes as starters: you can actually feel the flavour of fresh Bacalhau, it's gracefully tasty.
Then we had 'Arroz de Pato': the duck meat was simply amazing, and the rice too!
We also had 'Vitela Assada no forno': definitely the best dish we have eaten in Porto. The meat was wonderfully soft and tasty. Very well cooked.
Finally, we had a 'Rabanada' and we confirmed our opinion on this place: DIVINE PORTUGUESE FOOD EXPERIENCE!
The staff was friendly and careful to details.
Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We travel 200+ days a year and always seek out the best restaurants, from local mom n pop to extravagant tasting menus. In our 6 weeks in Portugal, this was the worst experience — owner Jose Antonio was shockingly rude and inhospitable. There are so many wonderful places to dine in Porto — his is not one of them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited Portugal for 4 days and this was the best restaurant thus far! Truly a local gem with amazing food and customer service! We ordered the filet, fish, octopus rice, and milk dessert (aka heaven according to waiter haha).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Literally the best restaurant I’ve been to in Porto. Excellent service. Good wines. Probably the best filet mignon I had in my life. Also: Try the veal - and the Portuguese Grappa in the end. Everything I’ll be in Porto, I’ll be back! If I could give six stars, I would.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service. Great house wine. For those who like tripe, great option. Everything was divine. The lady working at the counter was very welcoming. All the curiosities will keep you in conversation while you wait between the inevitable many courses. Obrigada por tudo!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I know they are super popular so my husband and I showed up 10 minutes before they opened without a reservation. I loved that a smiling host waved us in even though they were not open quite yet. The cheery service continued. They seem to serve a lot of traditional dishes but all exceptionally prepared. My first bacalhau à brás was here. And I have a feeling it’ll be one of the best ones I’ll ever eat. It was so aromatic and it really is just perfect execution with good ingredients. I could taste the eggs through the salted cod. And the potato texture was lovely as well. I dream about it all the time now. Everything else was lovely too. I also had the veal, blood sausage and of course the yummy fritters. The mixed meat platter that everyone else was getting looked amazing but it was far too much food for us. I can’t wait to come back.
