★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Francesinha! The service is alright. Due to the pandemic, the waiting may be a bit bigger! I recomend going early

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1. The "francesinha" was very good, if you are into spicy.
2. The most expensive dish is 10 EUR.
3. It's fast served.
4. They have a paper at the door written in Portuguese where they alert for the danger of your veichule being assaulted.
5. Only two choices. Whit egg or whitout. No different bread, meat and other alternatives.
6. The place is more similar to a basic coffee place.
7. No parking lot and the car does not go into the narrow street.
8. The street is nice but the surroundings are at least questionable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely delicious "francesinhas", which is one of those local must-try dishes. It's a lovely place to eat at, but it's as far off the beaten track as it is possible in urban setting. What I mean is no tourist will stumble across this place, you have to know of it and make your way there. This is miles away from any landmark or tourist area, and rather isolated even though it's within city limits.
The place is clean and well laid out, and whenever I've eaten there the atmosphere is relaxed. Be warned that on nights and weekends you will struggle to get a table, this place is very popular with the locals.
The staff are OK but they won't trip over themselves to help you out. I've taken a star off because of this and also because it's rather pricey. A base francesinha is nearly 10 euros and doesn't even include chips or a drink. Like I said at the beginning, the food is delicious, but not enough to justify charging so much way out away from civilization.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy unassuming restaurant, reasonable prices. Absolutely colossal Francesinhas. A local delicacy, a thick sandwich with ham, roast beef, spicy sausage, melted cheese in a bowl smothered in a red gravy. I went with the optional fried egg on top. Excellent, yet simple meal. Available with fries. No need.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely not a good cost benefit place to eat francesinhas. There are better francesinhas for much less money around town, I ate a better one for half of the price for instance. The sausage taste like rubber and the fries are an extra. Looks good but it's not that good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy and very clean place, friendly staff and the best francesinhas I have ever had! Smoked bacon, perfectly cooked beef and home-baked bread. Be warned the portions are huge, couldn't finish mine! A bit off the beaten track but I promise it will be worth the trouble :)
