★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very pleasant surprise in a quiet little street. We arrived at 10:00 pm and we were still welcome. Delicious food (swordfish, clams, sardines) and delightful service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful pepper steak cooked to perfection. I had loin and shrimp brochettes served on a bed of rice which were delicious. Accompaniments were chips and mixed vegetables all washed down with a decent house red. Service very friendly and efficient. Only bit of a niggle was we were served pates and olives with bread and biscuits at the start of the meal which were delicious but it would have been nice to be asked if we wanted these as we thought they were part of the service and not added to the bill (not sure if this is the norm as its our first visit to Portugal). We would have ordered them anyway and they were excellent value as was the rest of the bill. Would highly recommend.
