★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a nice place and all, but I think it’s quite overrated. It appears fancy with its waistcoat-adorned waiters and piano player, but the restaurant also feels very outdated and in need of remodeling. The service is very fast and attentive. That’s probably the most impressive aspect of the experience here. Although, we had one unfriendly waiter who made several snarky remarks that made us uncomfortable. Redeemingly, one of his colleagues apologized after witnessing it and handled our table primarily for the rest of dinner. He was fantastic and very friendly. The food was mediocre and not what I would expect from such a fancy place. I suspected the shrimp in my açorda was not fresh. It honestly just about matched the quality of a frozen dinner. I think this place really needs a re-vamp to live up to the quality of experience it is trying to be. I would have rated 2 stars if it weren’t for the highly attentive service and good clientele.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good fish and seafood ? in Carcavelos beach. A little bit overpriced but the views and location are amazing. I recommend the “arroz tamboril” that was delicious. It is rather classic than fancy but definitely a place to go.
