Meals are really huge and extremely delicious , we couldn’t handle it.
Prices are so fair, I would say even too low for the quality of food and service!!!
I definitely recommend this place to visit. We’ve tried moonfish and rice with octopus.
I’m so happy about visiting this place!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A tiny restaurant with approx 10 tables to sit. Service was friendly and the prices affordable in a region of the city where you will find either fine dining or fast food places. I've had the rice with Gambas and Clownfish which was very delicious. Check it out if you are around and reserve a table when you arrive after 20:00.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food and location are okay but make sure to check the bill before paying. First, they charge you for food they serve without being asked for (like the cheese served as appetizer) but not only that... they tried to charge us 2x for the appetizer and when the waiter noticed that we were checking the bill, he brought us another one pretending he made a mistake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When speaking about traditional Portuguese restaurants you must include this intimate and delicious place, It won't dissapoint! And how they've managed to use every inch of that space is magnificent to see! You better brush up you're Portuguese skills or food will not be on your plate ;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Tasca en Bairro Alto. Really authentic and the same people have been running it for many years. I've been here 4 times in 15 years. The stuffed squid is a stand out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent food for a reasonable price. We ordered the clam starter, bacalhau a bras, and the fried sole…everything was very flavorful and the service was wonderful. It’s a very small place, so I recommend a reservation! Of note, it’s cash only!!
