This restaurant has been with the same family for as long as I can tell, all of them work there.
And if you think that being on a budget means it'll be average food, well you're in for a treat.
1/2 portion of any plate can easily feed 2. And, again, the price is just great and fair.
Everyone is friendly, kind and funny, and Zé will always go the extra mile to ensure you're pleased in your visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A true neighborhood joint. This restaurant was just steps from our hotel and we didn't know it existed until a week after we arrived. We stumbled upon it on our way back from downtown Caldas and it was packed with locals (that is always a good sign). Good comfort food at very reasonable prices and friendly staff.
