★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At first the negative reviews about service nearly put us off going but the wife wanted octopus so we went. I’m so glad we did! The food was excellent and very good portions, the service was fast and friendly and that view speaks for itself. Can’t comment on the night service as we went lunchtime. Sangria was lush and try the carrots in garlic. Price was reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place with an excellent menu full of delicious products from seafood and ground food. They have a typical seafaring decoration which makes the experience even more real. The waiter was super friendly and he advised us with the best option that we could ever try. Out of the menu, the restaurant offers fresh fish, please try them. This is not a cheap chip but probably it is my personal top five for eat fish.
No doubts that we will come back the next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff, great view over the coastline and harbour. Ordered a ceviche and some fries, my wife went with the grilled cod. Food was okay, good size portions. Other dishes was very pricey but if you can settle with a starter and a extra, this is a good place to enjoy a lunch at while passing Sagres.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pro - The food and sangria were good - 4 star worth especially ceviche was a highlight. 4 king fish for €30 did seem excessive.
Con - The inside charming and local, while the outside had clinical looking seats/tables and absolutely no character. A highlight was the open dishwashing station - I guess the thought the noise lent well to the atmosphere…? Service was ‘ok’ if you actively flag someone over for everything you need.
At best A Tacsa is average. I could see your visit being a lot worse, but I’m not sure it would every be great.
