Authentic and generous food by the stairs of a less-travelled street, enjoying the view, the sun and the scent of sardinhas on the grill, sipping vino tinto and listening to the silence, the seagulls and the laughs of the fellow guests! Just unmissable!! Could spend the hours there

J	Juuls on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place to sit and enjoy the view. It's in a narrow alley but you can look across the river, over the roofs of the houses. Locals passing by, entering their houses, while the owner lights the churrasco (BBQ) and the sun goes to sleep (as they say in Portugal).

Food was not tasty (very chewy codfish/ not fresh, liquid seafood platter with overcooked rice and 2 poor mussels and shrimps) . I also asked for mayonnaise for my french fries but have never seen the color of it. Last but not least, no price is shown on the menu... We ended up with an extremely high bill for such low quality food.... for reference, we paid the same price today in a very good restaurant with amazing food (entrees+ mains+ desserts) with a seafront view in Fos... Do not recommend this place.

The menus are perfectly made for sharing and the drinks are fantastically cheap. 1.5 beers 7.5 for a WHOLE bottle of good white wine. The restaurant is run by a small Portuguese family. We were very satisfied

They started the grill outside for the sardines, so I also had the chance to see the whole cooking which was very nice. At some point it started raining and they jumped to move all the plates inside, just so careful and friendly. Once inside, you feel like you were invited to someone’s house. Amazing food, great people and low prices, would definitely recommend.
