★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have recently completed our second furniture design and install with Emma and Abode Furniture, and we couldn’t be happier.
As international clients it was so important for us to be able to find someone who we could trust, who would help furnish our new home, and we definitely found that with Emma.
We were immediately impressed by her knowledge and her friendliness on the phone, and we knew then that we had made the right decision.
When we finally met with Emma at the showroom, she helped us finalize all of the details and made the experience both stress free and exciting! The furniture arrived within the time given, and we were thrilled not only did it all look great, but the quality of the furniture was excellent.
Our second project with Emma was even easier. We were simply able to give her some parameters and she was able to offer us some great ideas. Once again she was able to make the whole process seamless, and stress free.
We would highly recommend Emma, and Abode Furniture to anyone looking to refurbish their space.
Emma's professionalism and eye for detail made this an easy, and enjoyable experience. She meet our needs perfectly, and we will continue to use her services and expertise in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pre-sales was very good as was installation. You primarily order from catalogues as the range in the showroom is not huge. However, often products don’t look the same in print as they do when they arrive. To return items Abode keep a HUGE % as a restocking fee. My main gripe is that all the furniture was covered in fabric which I was told was “cat proof” and guaranteed for two years. “If it’s damaged we’ll send an upholsterer to repair the item under the guarantee.” 12-18 months after purchase, damage started to appear and Abode hid behind the manufacturer and said there was nothing they could do. I need to buy more furniture but not through a store who is only helpful pre-sales.
Update in response to your reply:
As I said my main gripe was the damage to the sofa. It was clearly held out in pre-sales that it was "cat proof" and when I asked how this worked Liz specifically said “If it’s damaged we’ll send an upholsterer to repair the item under the guarantee.”
I did contact you subsequent to the damage appearing and we exchanged several emails. This was one of the replies:
"The warranty on the sofa fabric is 2 years. However, this is not a guarantee against damage if it is under permanent duress. I´m afraid that there is nothing that the manufacturer will offer under these circumstances. "
You subsequently said "warrantee coverage diminishes over time ". I asked how a warranty can diminish over time and never received a response.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At short notice, Emma was able to furnish our new apartment after talking to us and understanding our requirements. The service has been fantastic and the furniture both fits the space well, and looks fantastic.
Good quality products with responsive service. Really couldn't ask for more and will definitely use again in the future.

Emma had such a outstanding personality and passion FOR her job, that it translated into pure excellence IN her job!! She truly cared about all of our needs and went above & beyond to make sure we had all the necessary information to make the right decisions while making the process a smooth and enjoyable experience. Well done Abode for employing such a remarkable member to your team!
After assisting us with the customization and ordering of our furniture, Emma kept in constant contact with us throughout the process until delivery.
We could not be happier with our furniture and the whole Abode experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall we were very impressed with Abode who outfitted our townhouse in Cabanas de Tavira, Portugal. The entire process was handled remotely as we live in Canada. Emma was incredible...stylish, detailed and organized! She starts by asking your tastes then provides a room by room solution. From there we used Abode's website to fine tune the design. Ordering was seamless and the install team was fast, organized and left our home clean. The only reason preventing a 5 star rating was the fact we did not receive the loungers we expected and Abode's supplier would not exchange them. Other than that Abode is top notch, offering great quality furniture and curated service from design to install.

Her valuable expertise, exquisite taste and attention to every detail resulted in the creation of an inviting space that we love. Sofia’s fabulous personality also made the entire process enjoyable, which is especially remarkable since we worked on the project remotely prior to our arrival in Portugal! She focused on our personal preferences for design customization, shared important insights relating to how local climate nuances can influence certain materials, and coordinated all aspects of our project in a highly professional manner. When we frequently complimented Sofia, she was quick to mention that the entire team was dedicated to the stellar service we experienced, which was evident through our interactions with Liz, the skilled and personable installers, and everyone we encountered at Abode. While overcoming global supply chain issues and other impediments, Sofia and her extraordinary colleagues delivered quality furnishings in an impressive manner.
