★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Anyone who rated this one star simply went at the wrong time. This was hands down the best experience at a restaurant my partner and I had while visiting Lisbon. The food was unbelievable and a lot of it for a very good price.
Please go during busy hours (Noon - 3pm) and get the pratos do dia (plate of the day). It's a 3 course meal including a drink and coffee. You'll see the place is full of locals doing the same thing because of the excellent food for the price you pay. The mango mousse dessert though. I'll never forget it. Never.
I feel very lucky to have stumbled on this place.
*Disclaimer* I can see someone having a bad experience if they come in not knowing any Portuguese and acting indignant when the staff doesn't understand their order. It is clearly a local lunch hotspot and I'm sure they have no need for the business of rude and selfish tourists.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice staff although they are not speaking english. I started with ham which was excellent. Main dish - cod with potatoes and cabbage was too greasy. For desert I had really good chocolate cake. Definitely would come back.
