M	Merlin Fargel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the best evening at this location! The waiter was open minded, friendly and had a good dose of humor. He was able to answer every question refering to their wine offerings and even gave us the desert a bit cheaper. I recommend the meat in this restaurant, if you like to test everything take the mixed grills. We took the bigger dose and it was enough for 2. At last the location has much flair of a traditional Portuguese wine restaurant. My recommendation, if you wanna have a romantic dinner for 2 !
D	David Giddings on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here based on a guidebook recommendation. The waiter was friendly and engaging, his wine choice for us good. We decided to try the mixbits of tapas for 2. It was suggested in the guidebook. In one way it pushed us to try all the local items you see around. Octopus, squid, fish tongue, Clams, shrimp, unusal flavoured mushrooms, slava beens (?), + more. Really alot of food that could’ve easily feed 4. Can’t say we enjoyed it. We tried it. Is all Portuguese food bland? Not sure it is the best dish to rate these folks on. Posting a photo of it, big round table. 9 dishes.

S	Simon Taylor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our experience was very poor but initially started well. We were given a glass of port while we waited for a table but then waited an hour after ordering food. We finally gave up, left money on the table for what we had consumed and left quite annoyed! Many staff more interested filling seats than actually fulfilling food orders taken. Couldn't seem to cope with lunchtime service. I'd avoid considering the choice available.
S	Sint Alexandra on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our codfish (bacalhau ) and grilled sardines were very tasty and even if it was a little salty for our tastes, it still had a good flavor. I ordered for one person and the portion was big enough for two. The waiters were really nice. Inside, the restaurant is very well decorated, clean and is has a self service of fruits and cakes for the pricevof 7.5 eur. Indeed, we has bread, olives and water at the beginning without being asked if we want and you are charged on the receipt. But at least we know before that this is a common habit in Porto. Anyway, we enjoyed our meal and we would come back.

Really ashame, because later people came and just went to sit on a table and got helped unbelievable!! Then the shrimps in garlic were not good cleaned (skin and guts). and the octopus was to much baked. Main course was codfish and tenderloin on the gril tenderloin was good, but the codfish was dry and swimming in the oil. People recommend it, but for us was a disappointment. This was my bad experience maybe other people had more luck. Gordon Ramsay could maybe help them out. Maybe I'm wrong but I think the chef is arrogant in his cooking skills. We do it for years like this so keep doing it this way.

The portion is a bit big for one person tho, was a waste that I cant finish the dish!! With the view in front of the shop and the outdoor dining area, It was a lovely afternoon.
