★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible meal and wine list with first rate service! Ambience is beautiful. White fish is prepared whole and serviced table side...no bones or picking necessary. The one pot meals simply delicious, and the octopus rice is sublime, as is the octopus on a hot plate. Leave space and get the chocolate mousse for dessert!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I arrived at noon on a Wednesday only to find out that they open at 12:30. I didn’t mind waiting since I knew the dining experience would be worth the wait. My friend and I put our names down for a table inside since they do not take reservations for the outside tables. At 12:30, we snagged an outside table with a wonderful view of the water. We ordered the fried octopus rice and pork chop. The octopus was so wonderful and I highly recommend it. The pork chop was very tough. We did enjoy the rice that came with it but I’ll skip that dish next time I visit. I ordered the almond tartlet for dessert.

Very tasty food. Amazing octopus. Friendly staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their grilled bream and octopus is sooooo good! Definitely among one of the best dishes I’ve had during my trip in Portugal.
The waiter is very attentive, friendly and speaks great English.
Be sure to make a reservation though because it’s a small place and the spots get filled up quickly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The shrimp with garlic was really good. Octopus with rice was tasty as well and came with potato chips. We sat outside with a beautiful view of the river. It got super busy by around 7 so get there by 6 to avoid waiting in line!
