I highly recommend it either you leave in nearby cities, you stay at Alcochete for touristic purposes or you are planning just to go to Alcochete for a one-day tour. Very traditional decorated space where you can take a extraordinary fresh fish meal.

However, we experienced such downright hostility from the waiter and waitress that we walked out. We waited a while to be seated for lunch, which is fine, but once we were seated we waited another 20 minutes for someone to take our order. In the meantime, I got up and got my own menu & we decided what we wanted because it seemed as though they were understaffed. The waiter rudely told us that almost all the fish was sold out, & this had not been marked on the menu outside. My elderly grandparents asked some questions which the waiter interrupted impatiently and with such an aggressive tone that despite our long wait we decided to leave. So, don't take this review as a criticism of the food but I definitely will never give my hard earned € to an establishment that doesn't treat patrons with respect.
