Very pleasant small town, bathed by the Guadiana river and with a Spanish village in sight, to visit in a 2-minute ferry ride. Historic and megalithic monuments. Excellent river beach.

Small charming town in Portugal. It is accessed from Sanlúcar de Guadiana by boat that costs € 2.50 round trip. It has its castle and its narrow streets. I recommend it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely little village by the Guadiana river. There is a coffee shop with super views of the river and the white Spanish town across the it. A well developed boating port, with many sailing and motor boats moored here. They also offer kayaking and other water sports facilities, as well as river tours.
Well worth a visit.
