Aldeia da Pedralva - Nature & Village Experience - R. de Baixo

Amazing village! It's tiny but have two wonderful places to eat, it's kids safe to wonder around, pretty and great views. There is bike rental place too. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely time at Pedralva, the traditional village houses are simple but charming. The cobbled streets of the village are worth a visit even if you're not staying here. There are a couple of nice restaurants in the village though the pizza place can get rather crowded

To come here was the best choice ever! The place is just wonderful ✨ lost in the nature - perfect for whoever wants to spend some time far from the city

Remove little village with traditional remodeled houses you can rent. Back to the past - no WiFi, no TV, just you, your family and the nature. There's a common pool, an amazing pizza restaurant with organic produce and enough activities to delight the whole family. And you can explore the most amazing beaches nearby.

Antônio Justino Ferreira is not a good person. Dont came here. Rent a Caravan and travel arround. It is the best solution

I decided to visit on all days, Día de los Muertos. Place was closed, did get a great cheese and ham toast thing and coffee however... Place looks cute, hills, trees, nature stuff, the usual so you should visit if you like that sort of thing, or ham and cheese on toast, your call

We rented an 8-person house with the 4 of us, we entered the house and it looked really neat, clean and tidy. However, for 8 persons, I would not recommend it. There were only 5 chairs for outside (from wich one was broken). And there also aren't enough plates and cups for 8. The restaurant was great! I ordered the cheeseburger, but the burger itself had almost 0 taste, they should've put some herbs in it. But the waiters are super nice, and you really get a lot of food! I really don't recommend an 8-person house to rent with 8 people. There also is a cleaning service, but they tend to come at different times each day, from 11AM to 4PM.

Let me explain where this is coming from: First night, arrived late in the evening and looking for the keys, we stepped into the restaurant of the hotel and asked the waiter if we could eat something. Without even welcoming us or asking how the trip was, at the question ‘would you be able to serve us any meals’ his answer was simply ‘sabe que hora sao’? (Do you know what time it is?) Yes, we knew. 10:30.... and walked to the pizzeria next door. The next morning, walking in the outdoor patio of the restaurant, the same waiter welcomed us with a nice “sem masquera, fora agora!! ” ( in English: with no mask, go outside right now!!”) physically pointing with his straight arm the outside of the patio. Just to be clear, a scene which is normally associated with a bar owner kicking out a street-dog from his patio... What is even less comprehensible is how, after making him notice that we know the law but simply forgot to put the mask on, he was still arguing that ‘I should have known because I passed in front of the sign the night before’ and that he didn’t see any wrongdoing in speaking to us in such way. Without once, apologizing. ???? Having lived in Portugal quite a bit, I know this is not the normal standard of hospitality. Simply the gesture of someone with little hospitality education and knowledge of how to respectfully communicate with a guess. I am not expecting any words of comfort, but rather hope that the management will take further action to make sure something like this would never happen again, given the place is indeed a magical place, and situation like this only ruin the atmosphere (and reputation).
