★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not an hostel, just a place that wants to make extra cash without having any idea what people expect of an "hostel". Should be mentioned as "room to rent" instead. Lack of cleanliness but bearable - terrible service - no working wifi!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great hotel with a very kind stuff. It is located in the city centre and only 1min walk away from the beach. Despite its central location it is quite quiet during the night. Room that we stayed in was not very big but it had everything you expect from a hotel and it was very clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's fine. The staff is nice enough, but often preoccupied with also having to work the store below the hostel. Also the facilities were quite dirty.
The location is great, so it's worth checking out for just this reason. Plus the rooftop is gorgeous. Neither of these things has very much to do with the hostel itself, however, and you'll find similar places all over Albufeira.
