It is sooo difficult to find a nice (tuna) steak - most of the places that I have been, they overcook/overgrill the steak, but here the steak was cooked perfectly, still “slightly pink”, not dry at all and very tasty overall.
Their panna cotta is one of the best that I have tried - the consistency was very well achieved and the taste was amazing.
Well done guys!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We dined here with a group of 8 while visiting Lisbon. We ordered family style so everyone could get a taste and loved certain dishes so much that we reordered them. Every dish was simply delicious. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Absolutely recommend Alecrim No Prato to each and everyone visiting this beautiful city. Delicious Portuguese cuisine at a very reasonable price!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had dinner here and had the steak with a very rich and creamy champagne sauce which was average. She had the corvina which was better. We shared the chocolate cake in the end. The food was unimpressing and cost a reasonable price. The staff was nice and attentive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are so glad we found this gem after touring the Belém sights.
We three walked in without reservations around 8p, and were immediately seated.
Our waitress Maria was So nice and professional, a great balance of training and personality. And she had great English, which we always appreciate with our poor Portuguese.
Cheese, olives, oil, and bread for the table to start, then a lovely squash purée soup and mild sausage & egg appetizer, followed by a sweet mango chutney shrimp curry (with VERY spicy sauce available if you want), a creamy dreamy steak with egg and fries, and a thick cut mushroom risotto. I was offered tastings of several wines before I found one that matched perfectly, and I am so grateful the waitress took the time to go through them with me.
The curry was so good we ordered one to go for our sick traveling companion, and also got a chocolate mousse to go. When they heard it was my birthday, they added candles and a sparkler to make it extra special when we got home.
The manager also took the time to come say hello and make sure all was going well. Even when full for dinner the volume never got too loud to be comfortable, and the room was warm enough for a woman to be comfortable in a sundress.
2 appetizers, 2 wines, water and soda, 4 entrees, and a dessert all for 80€. We could not be happier with this meal!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a fantastic meal here in a traditional style restaurant in Belem. The staff were really welcoming and efficient despite arriving just after the lunch rush and 20 minutes before they closed. I ordered the octopus with sweet potato and greens for 16 Euro which was fantastic and totally exceed my expectations in terms of taste and presentation. This place represents good value for money.
