Great and healthy food, lovely prepared and freshly served.
Truly tastes like homemade by the best cooks of your own family :)
Furthermore, behind this beautiful place there is a smart and quite unique concept:
First you are convinced of the high quality of their food by eating full of joy and afterwards you can buy those ingredients directly there, mostly packaging free to reduce plastic waste to a minimum.
Give it a try and you won't be disappointed. And don't forget to try their specialty coffee roast!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today during a short visit to Setubal we had an excellent lunch at Alegre-me. The serve fresh made healthy food that tastes very good. Also the smoothies and juices were fine. The host is very friendly and welcoming. They sell also delicious cookies, granola and other whole food.
@Jose Mourinho: if you ever visit your birth town, go here and eat a healthy lunch, before you hide in a laundry basket again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a really nice place for a cosy brunch or lunch. I had the menu of the day which was delicious, healthy and great value. Soup, chickpea curry, fresh juice and coffee for €8.50. The service is friendly and efficient, and there’s a lovely selection of natural products to take away.
