About Algarve Charters
With all kinds of activities, we are proud to say that we are generating great memories for almost 40 years.
Back in the beginning, where we were one of the first companies in the Algarve doing these tours along the coastline, teaching people how to sail and our love for the ocean was what kept operating until today! It was always a passion of ours the activity of sailing which allows a direct contact with nature, feeling the breeze, enjoying the sound of the waves gliding through the boat. There is nothing like this feeling of peace while your mind flows with the sound of the sea.
Many years ago, our CEO started the business with a smaller Yacht after winning some national championships in different classes of sailing boats. In the beginning we were only capable of have smaller groups who wanted to learn and feel exactly what sailing is about. A few years later, our CEO became a boat builder, and the company started to grow. We built a Catamaran with a larger capacity, 2 Sailing Yachts and now we also have Power Boat specially made for dolphin search. Our motivation remains the same, to provide our guests a perfect day at sea, while comfortably enjoying the rocky landscape and the unique beaches Algarve has to offer.

Absolutely fantastic afternoon spent with the crew onboard the Mara Catamaran. From start to finish this was a 5 star trip, we choose the sunset cruise, the crew and skipper were so friendly, helpful and attentive. There’s so many different companies and options to choose from for the cave tours, hands-down go with Algarve Charters.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic crew and transport on board the Matrix. Good prices for family of 4, two adults and two children. Daniela and the captain and crew were very welcoming, friendly and took time out to talk to you individually. The cruise down the coast to see the caves was beautiful but most of all we sailed along side the dolphins. What an experience. Thank you to the team! Hope to do it again some day soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did a morning tour (10 am - 1pm), on 1st Oct 2020. Would recommend sitting on the right hand side of the boat when you get on to get the best views/photos.
The two crew members were great.
There is an indoor cabin/shaded area if the sun gets a bit much and a toilet on board.
There’s so many tour companies to chose from, we chose Algarve Charters for the price & time on the boat (£25)
A glass of bubbles was provided for the sail back to the marina.
