About Algarve SUN BOAT Trips | Solar Powered Eco Friendly Boat Tours
From our big concern with sustainability, environmental protection and passion for boating, we came up with the idea of creating the first eco-friendly nautical tourism company.
Algarve Sun Boat Trips is Algarve's first tourist company with an 100% ecological fleet of electro-solar boats, without any carbon emissions, enabling comfortable, silent and, above all, environmentally friendly tours.
We contribute to a more ecological form of tourism, reducing pollution in water beds and producing zero carbon emissions.
Evolving into a brighter, sustainable future, our boats use the Sun as its power source. Solar energy is collected by photovoltaic panels and stored in existing batteries on the boat. Without fossil fuel consumption or exhaust fumes our boats were designed to sail at zero cost for the environment, reducing our carbon footprint to the limit.
We are set to have minimal impact on the ecosystem, allowing us and our customers to be in perfect harmony with the surrounding nature, preserving it for future generations.

Our hosts were very knowledgeable and gave us loads of local info as well as wine, snacks and the opportunity to swim in the river! Silves itself was wonderful. We had plenty of time to explore. 10/10. Plus the whole trip was eco! Thanks! ???

He provided snorkelling sets for 12 people and we even could bring our stand-up paddle. The service was excellent and enjoyed our trip on the sustainable (solar) boat.
