★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This bar wins for having a wonderful decoration. They serve an amazing Madeiran beer that is worth a try, the burger menus are also very good. The place is perfect for a first date, to meet friends to drink or even to work while drinking a wonderful hot chocolate in winter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good food. The restaurant is extremely crowded so the food takes a while to came, but it is worth the wait. It’s an interesting concept because it’s food and drinks from Madeira. Fair price

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our group of eleven were happily catered for here by staff who moved several tables together for us. The food was excellent and my understanding is that much of the food is based on the cuisine of a nearby Portuguese island.
There are indoor and outdoor seating options and the establishment is all in one level so wheelchair access is relatively simple.
Cheers and enjoy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here a rainy day, so there were not many guest. Our waiter was really good in english and gave us some history about Madeira and their food! He gave us some traditional shots with the history behind it, and to end it off some port wine from the region. A great restaurant and great food. We paid around 45 Euros for two starters, two mains and one dessert, plus some wine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely meal, my favorite one while in Portugal. Just down the street from the train station. The tuna was amazing. I had the salmon-shrimp-tuna skewer, it came with the best sweet potatoes I’ve ever tasted. I also had the garlic bread... “bolo do caco” drenched in butter and garlic, yum!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Portuguese food in a restaurant just outside of the city walls. The menu was only in Portuguese but the staff was really helpful in explaining everything to us we didn't understand. Loved it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't understand some of the bad reviews here... I came from Lisbon and sure the prices can be a bit higher than the usual restaurant in Évora, but that's just fair given the quality of the food you are served!
If you want this type of quality with a relaxing outdoor, the prices are well within the range.
Food was all great, we loved it!! Keep it up!
Staff was very friendly, the manager of the restaurant was always super polite.
Super recommend and will come back for sure to try other dishes!
