★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my friends, drunk, couldn’t find the right currency to pay at the bar, the bartender said that it wasn’t a bar in Africa where we could do whatever we wanted after being questioned of what had happened, while a friend of our group is from Angola.
The manager came and instead of understanding the situation and explaining, sweared at my drunk friend, told us that she had a situation with a customer before, the customer slapped her and weren’t able to handle any other issue, from our side we kept the calm since the beginning.
I’ve worked in the industry and I know how hard it can be for the employees.
The manager started to cry ‘cause of the situation that happened before and for clearly being overloaded in her job.
I really felt bad for the employees that work at this bar as it’s evident that they are unhappy with their job, and have shots while working to forget the problems that they are going through, I’m pretty sure that it’s the boss fault in this case, that doesn’t look after the employees.
