★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looks like a nice restaurant but I came all the way there and they refused to accommodate the lunch menu for vegetarian, which was quite disappointing! There are vegetarian options à la carte but they are much more expensive so would be nice to have a vegetarian option on the daily menu or at least clarify on the online menu that there is only one option that cannot be changed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was such a wonderful dinner. This review is a few years late but we still talk about our lovely experience here (according to my BF one of the best pieces of pork he’s ever had). Food was delicious ( one vegetarian and one meat eater) and service was spot on.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would give ten stars if I could. This was one of the highlights of our stay in Porto. First of all, the staff is so welcoming and attentive. The restaurant is small and cosy. We had the tasting menu which was excellent value for money and some of the best dishes we ever tasted. Would come back to Porto just for this restaurant alone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food and service. Everything we tasted was amazing and cooked with care and respect for the ingredients ❤️
We had the falafel snack, the black garlic and the onion cream entrées, the Horta Almeja and the oven rice with lamb. Everything dish was full of flavour and love.
I recommend the Horta Almeja, even if you're not a vegetarian.
The desserts are an absolute treat: we had the tangerine and sweet potato, and the chestnut pear, coffee and fava tonka - both a delicious way of ending your meal ❤️
I'll be happy to return to Almeja ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the 10 moments tasting menu, and it was a real treat. Each dish was a nice mix of flavors, and there was such variety that the experience took me from vegetables to seafood to curries. And everything was plated beautifully. It was definitely one of the best meals I've had.
(Note: I asked for no desserts, and so this is a bit of a modified version of the 10 moments. I'd imagine the standard version has a desert course or two.)
