About Alvalade Norte Market
Lançado em 2015 pela Câmara Municipal de Lisboa, o programa Lojas com História visa apoiar e promover o comércio tradicional, como marca identitária da cidade de Lisboa. Com este programa pretende-se preservar e salvaguardar os estabelecimentos e o seu património material, histórico e cultural e, por outro lado, dinamizar a sua atividade comercial.
Em junho de 2018, a Câmara Municipal de Lisboa aprovou a atribuição da distinção Lojas com História a dois estabelecimentos localizados na freguesia de Alvalade: A Mariazinha e o Vá Vá Restaurante. Ainda em 2018, em dezembro, também A Sinfonia passou a estar referenciada neste programa. Já mais recentemente, em 2020, foi a vez da Cafélia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely love this market. You can find great fish assortment and good prices. Fresh fruits and bread. There are certain sports that have "exotic" fruits and vegetables from south America: yuca, plátano,pitaya, grandilla etc. You can find traditional Portuguese cheeses and hams. I believe it's a nice place to do your shopping and also just to give it a look.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic market! I loved it so much. You can buy here almost everything - see food, fruits, vegetables, cheese, bread. You can enjoy homemade food, drink coffee or beer. Next to this there is also Lidl so this is great spot to do shopping.
