★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First impressions when entering were that the restaurant is immaculate. The standard of cleanliness is amazing. This was refreshing and immediately made us feel welcome. Two of us went for lunch. It was a first visit. The waiter was first class. He took the time to explain and suggest various options for our meal. Fortunately for us he spoke good English which is a bonus.
The food was beautifully presented. The attention to detail on the Sushi was a treat for us to see. We were also able to see some of the preparation as it happened. The starters on the generic menu were somewhat small but this was not a problem when considering the size of the main course. The service was attentive without being overwhelming and the bill was what I would expect to pay in Castelo Branco for a meal of this standard. One further point to note is that the toilets are immaculate. In general Portuguese toilets in their restaurants are of a high standard but these went the extra mile. My compliments to the management and all the staff, particularly the young Nepalese gentleman who attended to us.
