Main courses a la carte were excellent / amazing. Desserts less convinced by. Service was a bit iffy at the beginning. Seemed to take forever to see a menu and wine list but got miles better after that

Unique experience. We got the vegetarian menu but you just completely forget it’s végétarien as it is so tasty, colorful and gourmand. All dishes were wonderful. The wine pairing recommendations are also something special, you should definitely go for it. Waiters are nice, friendly and very attentive. As a French person with experience in starred restaurant I would definitely put more than one star for Antiqvum. Last one: the spot is ( also) amazing and full of little details as the tableware. Big thanks to the entire team!

I thoroughly enjoyed eating here. The selection of food was wonderful. The service was attentive and considerate. The view was beautiful. We started with a selection of bread and butter. Then there was a complimentary dish of foie gras on brioche which was heavenly. Then our main dishes came. I picked the Red Mullet and my sister picked the pigeon. They were both incredible but the red mullet I would come back again for. The dishes were stunning to look at and flavoursome. Unfortunately our stay was short so we didn't have dessert but I'm sure it would have been equally as good. The only minor point was that it was quite hard to find the restaurant. But once you found it, it is definitely worth a visit.

Such a delightful experience! We had the 9 course tasting menu with wine pairings. Every detail exquisite, service amazing. Highly recommend!

I visited the restaurant quite spontaneously during the week at lunchtime and I am still thrilled. First of all, when I write a review about a one-star restaurant, the rating is based on the expectations of such a restaurant. The weather that day was beautiful and there were only three tables occupied (so the waiter/visitor density was quite high). I decided on a main course of lacto-vegetables and two desserts: Claus Porto 1887 and I Love Cheesecake. I had a red wine recommended to go with it. The meal started with a selection of bread, a butter with seaweed, a butter with pepper and an olive oil. We continued with two amuse-bouches, the second one in particular was incredibly outstanding in terms of flavours, sweet-salty and playful. Then my main course was served, which was also really good. I was then surprised with a pre-dessert: a sweetish sheep's cheese that had a bit of that animal flavour. The accompanying balsamic cream (if I remember correctly) enhanced this flavour. With the other, sweetish, one could muffle the animal taste. A classy, playful dish. The first dessert, Claus Porto 1887, was exactly to my taste, nicely chocolatey, varied and very coherent. The second dessert, I love Cheesecake, was a little too little cheesecake and a little too much fruit. However, the artificial cherries with a pistachio cream were very good. Even though it wasn't the perfect dish for me, it was still done to a very high standard. In the end, it was an exceptionally good meal, perfect service on a sunny day. Anytime again! 5 stars for cuisine/service/ambience

The best restaurant I've ever been! It goes from the food details, the charismatic staff and the location. I would like the say a special thanks to Diogo, our waitress for the night. He was very patient, passionate, brought even more joy to the night. Sometimes we forget that the presentation of the art is what makes the art alive. We also would like the say a big thanks to the chef, Vitor Matos, and all the staff to make our night very unique and magical.

First of all, gorgeous garden and beautiful view. Secondly, good service. And last but not least, beautifully presented and tasty food. We came during lunch and had a vegetarian tasting menu and a 9 course tasting menu (they no longer have lunch menus). The selection of the desserts was really good.

It was a great gastronomic experience in Porto. We had a tasting menu. All dishes were sophisticated, with a great balance of taste. The top dishes of the evening was Pigeon and a lemon pie. It was a fantastic culinary combination. Cozy environment, attentive and pleasant service. Exclusive tableware, attention to details and creative food plating. Far away not in every Michelin star restaurant you can get such an experience and wholeness. Highly recommend to visit. Good luck!
