★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid this place! The staff is cheating, view is not as on pictures. Smell in the room is poor. The worst is noise from the street (below you have 3 restaurants and near by is a club).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This must be the noisiest place I’ve ever stayed at. Period. Impossible to sleep even with earplugs in and windows closed thanks to the incessant late night music / daytime construction work. Otherwise the apartment and the block is dated but clean and the views are nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately I was sadly disappointed by this place. I had booked it back in July as the 3rd part of mine and my husbands honeymoon. The photos made it look amazing - modern, high up overlooking the beach, and comfortable.
What I arrived to was an old building with PAPER THIN windows, 2 single beds pushed together (the owner refused to accept that they had falsely advertised this), a room on the first floor with no view at all, and an unbearable amount of noise coming from the bars and restaurants on the same street. We didn’t sleep AT ALL for 2 nights.
Do yourself a favor and just skip right over Portimao if you’re planning on visiting the Algarve. The beaches are the same the whole way down, better off somewhere else.
