★ ★ ★ ★ ★ High quality, posh supermarket. Excellent range of products and very good quality fruit and vegetables. Expensive and makes Waitrose look down-market! The one we went to had an Aldi right next door, so treats from Apolónia, basics from Aldi!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posh as Hell. For Brits really. Stuff there that you can't get elsewhere except maybe Iceland. Keep an eye on prices because some stuff is available everywhere and often cheaper. Fantastic store experience though, even a guard on the car park!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow this supermarket is next level. Stocks everything that you would need and the fresh meat section if fantastic. Professional and friendly staff. Lots of parking and location is great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 stars for selection. A bit pricey compared to other supermarkets here in the Algarve.
In addition, I expect faster checkout times. I’ve waited for 10+ minutes at times due to limited checkout staff, which you wouldn’t expect when paying premium prices.
Have to give it 3.5 stars overall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Expensive compared to the other supermarkets but you can buy most items your used to back in the UK. Staff all speak English. The store is immaculate and offers items that other supermarkets don't stock.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apolonia is nice, shinny and clean supermarket. Somehow it gave me the feel that it tries to cater to wide range of tourist's need. Therefore, they do have wider range of products. Which means, the price points become expensive to maintain. I even saw wagyu beef in the counter! I mainly went there to check out their fresh fish counter, but I have to say intermarche provided similar range of fresh & frozen fish with cheaper price. P.S. got attracted to their pastry section, both cheese and coffee cake was not upto the mark.
