★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Restaurante situado junto ao canal de São Roque. O Espaço é grande, e bem decorado.
Relativamente ao serviço gostei pouco dos constantes avisos, desde o telefonema a fazer a reserva, até ao momento em que escolhemos os pratos informando que o serviço iria demorar caso pedissemos pratos diferentes. Também gostei pouco dos suspiros quando vinham à mesa perguntar se tinhamos escolhido, e constatavam que ainda não tinhamos feito a escolha. Não houve praticamente apoio na escolha, apenas informaram o que não havia.
A Comida é boa, e tem alguns rasgos de originalidade.
Julgo que um restaurante que se quer posicionar a um nível alto tem que garantir que o serviço e a postura, desde os empregados ao patrão, tem de ser superior ao que neste momento é oferecido pelo "Ar de Roque". E não pode estar a assustar os clientes logo no telefonema de reserva.
 Restaurant located along the São Roque canal. The Space is big, and well decorated.
Regarding the service, I didn't like the constant warnings, from the phone call to make the reservation, until the moment when we chose the dishes informing us that the service would take a while if we ordered different dishes. I also did not like the sighs when they came to the table to ask if we had chosen, and found that we had not yet made the choice. There was practically no support for the choice, they just informed what there was.
Food is good, and has some traces of originality.
I think that a restaurant that wants to position itself at a high level has to guarantee that the service and attitude, from the employees to the boss, has to be superior to what is currently offered by "Ar de Roque". And you can't be scaring customers right off the reservation call.

Havia um erro na faturação, mas quando chamadoa atenção foi logo retificado sem qualquer discussão.
Vista bonita sobre a ria e os moliceiros a passar.
Parceria com a "Viva a Ria" rendeu desconto no passeio de moliceiro depois de almoço.
Good service. Good food and well served. We ate the rice recommended for two and we were very good.
There was an error in the billing, but when it was brought to attention it was immediately rectified without any discussion.
Nice view over the estuary and the passing moliceiros.
Partnership with "Viva a Ria" earned discount on the moliceiro ride after lunch.

Quem me conhece sabe que não sou muito de criticar. Mas hoje pelo preço que paguei e pela qualidade de atendimento e da comida fiquei muito desapontado.

Anyone who knows me knows I'm not much of a critic. But today for the price I paid and the quality of service and food I was very disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just had a delicious dinner at this great restaurant in Aveiro. Great position on the canal with sunset views. The food was perfect. Can highly recommend the bacalhau nuggets and the pork bao buns to start.
The staff are wonderful. Special mention to Peter who looked after us so well. Highly recommended.
