However this time we waited 50 minutes for our grilled fish to be brought.
The staff did look lost and overwhelmed but this was on a Monday lunch, with about half of the tables busy...
Worst of all, we were given not explanation nor apology.
And we were not the only ones, as the people at the table next to ours decided to just leave because their food had not been served, only to be chased and brought back inside by the waiters.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a nice restaurant ,but, mmmm, we waited more than 2 hours to have out meal ready. They were very very slow in my point of view.
The food quality was good, more than acceptable, the place itself is beautiful. But in general if they serve such slow, I prefer to try other restaurants around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great quality served although I'll have to admit that quantity wasn't that generous. Areal Praia feels like a restaurant that doesn't know what it wants to be. There's a sushi bar, but also risotto and Italian food, but also Portuguese dishes, but also has Oscar Wilde quotes written on the walls... In French.
The views are amazing, the place is well decorated and inviting, service was polite yet very slow. Overall a good experience but could be much better with small improvements.l, especially a dramatically lower price.
