Arigato adapted quite no nicely to the pandemic, and now serves "a la carte", where previously they had buffet (at least at my previous visit, for lunch, pre-pandemic). Overall the the place is very nice, as is the food. Ideal for a relaxed dinner, as was my case this time. Cleanness and distancing was in order.

Really good “all you can eat” sushi lunch deal at Arigato. The sushi was really fresh, well prepared and tasty - even the really strange “dessert” style ones that mix salmon with fruit. The only thing I didn’t like were the hot dishes, they were a little bland. Wish I’d ordered more sushi instead!

We went during lunch and it was crowded. Place is clean and service was good despite the language barrier. However, if you have eaten sushi in Japan or US, it will be hard to give this place 5 stars. The variety is OK but the Japanese rice is just not right. Not all the options were absolutely fresh. Cooked dishes were forgettable. Desserts were simple. Having said that, it is a great deal for that price in Portugal. On a side note, we had bad stomach problems after our meal here so not everything was fresh. It was our 1st meal of the day.

Generally for most of my life I would stay away from all you can eat sushi places (I don’t gamble with raw fish and cheap prices), but since I am vegan now for the last two years, I thought it was worth a try! After all if nobody dies from eating the fish here then the edamame should be safe :-) Good atmosphere. The food is not exceptional but it is good and the service is instant over lunch since it’s self service. If you want a good, decent tasting, filling sushi lunch, this is probably a good place whether you’re vegan or not. If you want fine Japanese dining, go somewhere else.

Absolutely loved the sushi experience we had at Arigato. They serve a very wide range of sushis and sashimis. The food was super delicious! I would like to put a special mention for our waiter named Ricardo who was just amazing, he gave us personala and special attention. We will definitely come back again ?

A boutique kind of sushi place in Parque das Nações. There's a little bit of traditional sushi, but most is either the Portuguese take on sushi or Arigato's own interpretation. A great buffet experience, although there were a couple non-traditional varieties (jam) I wasn't adventurous enough to try. If you're a sushi is sushi kind of guy like me, this place is probably a three or four. I don't want hot or heavy food served before a meal with delicate flavors like sushi, which Arigato does. But that didn't impact my rating, as it is common in Portugal and my lunch mate wanted some anyway. The same goes for the fruit/ dessert style sushi. Not my thing, but it didn't impact my rating since it's very common in Portugal. What earns it a four/five are the gin tonics served here. Might be worth just dropping in for a drink.

Superlative Sushi. This was really a very wonderful eating experience. We arrived a bit too early for the amazing all you can eat option and the server seated us and offered us drinks. Then Dada from Brazil helped us understand the situation better, and this was so helpful to us. Once we hat a drink, João described each item in detail and of course we opted for the 'all you eat dinner' We ordered tempura with the starter, and the starter of scallop, cucumber salad and gyoza was lovely. The tempura was tasty. The cheese tekpura was new to us, but lovely. Then arrived the 'Combinado' a wonderful platter of sushi with dry ice rolling off, it was stunningly incredible. And so tasty! We loved the wide and flavoursome selection. So much so we ordered the platter again... And devoured the delicious delicacies a second time! We were delighted with Sushi that was not known to us, incredible chefs here, for sure. The Okanonmiyaki is very interesting, with a fascinating history. The 'seeet set' with cream cheese, strawberry and compote and salmon was mind blowingly good. Who knew? Great work. Thank you. Really lovely restaurant, stylishly set out, loveky relaxed atmosphere and a fun and welcoming team, with incredibly good, fresh sushi. Dada agd João were fabulous to us, such a welcome. Gó ráibh míle mhaith agaibh agus buíchios diobh I gcóir caint sasanach. Bia íontach ar fad!
