★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Soube da detenção de ativistas de direitos humanos na Turquia, nomeadamente dos membros da Amnistia Internacional Taner Kiliç e Idil Eser.
Do que é do meu conhecimento, eles não cometeram nenhum crime objetivo, sendo a sua detenção uma violação do Pacto Internacional dos Direitos Civis e Políticos de que a Turquia é Estado-Parte. Ainda ontem o Parlamento de Portugal aprovou, por unanimidade, um voto de protesto por tais detenções. De imediato tomei a decisão de anular um período de férias que tinha marcado para a Turquia.
Sou empresário e irei influenciar os meus colegas para cancelarmos visitas e relações comerciais com empresas da Turquia, enquanto Taner Kiliç e Idil Eser não foram libertados incondicionalmente.
Solicito que, na linha da decisão da Assembleia da República, sejam feitas diligências diplomáticas para a libertação imediata e incondicional de Taner Kiliç e Idil Eser

 I heard about the arrest of human rights activists in Turkey, including Amnesty International members Taner Kiliç and Idil Eser.
To my knowledge, they have not committed any objective crime, their detention being a violation of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights of which Turkey is a State Party. Just yesterday the Parliament of Portugal unanimously approved a vote of protest for such arrests. I immediately decided to cancel a vacation I had scheduled for Turkey.
I am a businessman and will influence my colleagues to cancel visits and business relations with Turkish companies, while Taner Kiliç and Idil Eser have not been released unconditionally.
I ask that, in line with the decision of the Assembly of the Republic, diplomatic steps should be taken for the immediate and unconditional release of Taner Kiliç and Idil Eser
