A sua sede fica localizada numa antiga escola primária datada de 1903, passou a biblioteca em 1917 e chegou às mãos da Banda da Covilhã em 2010. Em 2015, depois de obras de renovação abriu portas com 2 auditórios, restaurante, 10 salas, pátio dos músicos e jardim das pautas. Conta com uma Banda Filarmónica cheia de Jovens e várias dezenas de alunos que aprendem música de forma divertida, familiar e inspiradora. Instituição de Utilidade Pública e Mérito Municipal.
The Banda da Covilhã and its Music Academy are today a reference in the regional and national music scene. Its headquarters is located in an old primary school dated 1903, it passed the library in 1917 and reached the hands of Banda da Covilhã in 2010. In 2015, after renovation works, it opened doors with 2 auditoriums, a restaurant, 10 classrooms, a courtyard for musicians and stave garden. It has a Philharmonic Band full of young people and several dozen students who learn music in a fun, familiar and inspiring way. Institution of Public Utility and Municipal Merit.
