Atlantic Ferries Tróia (Cais Sul)

They should sail more often.

Relaxing way to cross the river. Quick too.

It's fast and comfortable. And the views over board are magnificient. Can't comment on price as we got a free trip.

Nice trip

Easy to travel with. Easy to pay with Viaverde.

Great for a quick access to Troia peninsula. Slightly pricey though when they charge for a car and passengers separately.

What can I say. We paid €22 for a car + 2 adults (one way). Trip lasts approx 25 mins. Expensive but cheaper than driving the +/- 100km détour over land. I give it a 4 star !! The overal 2 stars (above) are for my evaluation for the peninsula itself. If you happen to be on the Tróia peninsula (on holiday/own property) this is probably your best option. If you're just curious to see what is on offer on that peninsula, believe me, nothing. And if you really want to go, it's better/cheaper to go on foot (no car). Other than a beach (which you can find on the mainland as well) and golf courses, there is nothing. Don't know how much a one week holiday costs on that peninsula, but I would be surprised if it were cheap. I have ticked that box, I'm not going back.
