★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O meu local preferido para beber um café acompanhado de uma filhós típica desta zona (antigamente eram tendidas no joelho, ficando com esta forma espalmada e mais fina no centro). As tartes de morango também são uma delícia.
My favorite place to drink a coffee accompanied by a donut typical of this area (formerly they were tended to the knee, with this shape flattened and thinner in the center). Strawberry pies are also delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A minha alma está parva. Já conheço a carvalhana há anos. Hoje fui lanchar e pedi um cupcake de morango. Basicamente um pequeno queque com natas. Quando fui pagar o lanche foram quase 10€ e claro pedi o talão. Fiquei parva. Já comi bolos caros mas fatias de quase meio kg e cheias de fruta. Agora um queque 3,50€ ? Ainda voltei atrás para entender se tinha sido um erro. Ao que a moça me disse que o bolo era esse valor. Carvalhana... Nunca mais. Roubo autêntico.
My soul is dumb. I've known the oak tree for years. Today I went for lunch and ordered a strawberry cupcake. Basically a small cupcake with cream. When I went to pay for the lunch it was almost €10 and of course I asked for the receipt. I was dumb. I've eaten expensive cakes but slices of almost half a kilo and full of fruit. Now a cupcake €3.50 ? I still went back to understand if it had been a mistake. To which the girl told me that the cake was that price. Carvalhana... Never again. Authentic theft.
