Fazem parte a barragem e respectivos órgãos anexos, um sistema elevatório e um sistema de rega. É permitida a pesca nas suas águas no período estival mediante licença a obter na Associação Cultural e Recreativa de Bouça Cova que é a entidade concessionária. É possível circundar toda a albufeira a pé por um percurso de 6km.
 Dam located to the west of the village of Bouça Cova. Here runs the Cerejo stream, a tributary of the Massueime stream. The dam and its associated organs are part of it, a lifting system and an irrigation system. Fishing in its waters is allowed during the summer period by obtaining a license from the Cultural and Recreational Association of Bouça Cova, which is the concessionaire. It is possible to go around the whole reservoir on foot for a 6km route.
