★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wish the name of the station was better marked for us silly tourists. As a foreigner it was hard to hear the name read out on the train and we had trouble spotting the station sign.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can only say that is for sure one of the most beautiful places of Lisbon. If you ever go to Lisbon and don't visit Belém you don't know what you are missing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ During weekends at least it is absolutely critical to buy tickets ELSEWHERE - in each direction, there is only a single ticket vending machine, and the process is very slow. As a result, easily a line of 30-50 people forms and you'll miss 1-2 trains (which run only once every 20 minutes) waiting in line. Also, the official pricing table seems to be wrong - it said that one ride to the city is €1.30 but actually it's €1.90, so make sure you have loaded enough money on your viva viagem card! otherwise excellent location and all good with this station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although this is one of the most popular train station among tourists, it has fundamental flaws, such as it lacks on information regarding the direction written on the overpass and lack of information regarding the vendor machines. Given it's importance to tourism, it would deserve better information and equipments.
