★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fairly comprehensive menu of simple food at cheap prices. Vegetarian options include omelettes, pizza, and lasagne. There didn't seem to be a lot for vegans - there are salads, so you could perhaps request a salad mix (if you speak Portuguese, or have Google Translate to hand). I ordered the cheese omelette and passionfruit sangria (pictured), total cost €10.
One of the other reviewers described this as a 'pilgrim trap', but I'm not totally sure why; they definitely do business off the local albergue. Perhaps it's a bit more expensive and lower quality than other food I've had in Portugal, but there's nothing offensive about it. Worth a try if you don't feel like walking farther.
