★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutelly charming place and fantastic service here. Shared some 10-12 tapas on four persons and that was perfect. Very good red and green wine. Worth a try: Tuna tartar, Beetroot gazpacho and Ribs!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting menu, great service, and a couple of delicious dishes. I am a fan of tapas when there is some real diversity to choose from (not quantity but diversity). Boaty's has such diversity. Not eating meat, the choice is limited for me anyway, but still lots to try out, including seafood. In the end, I had dishes, a few beers, a good number of pages to read in my book, and a good view of the restaurant. Staff is great, fast, and friendly. My favourite dishes of the evening were a beetroot gazpacho (not borscht) and a smoked mackerel salad. The carrot-ginger puree that went with the crispy salmon was also delicious, but the potatoes and salmon were not as good as the puree itself. But all in all it was very yummy. Compliments for the staff, btw... they're good!

Sat outside on the esplanade with an ocean view.
Had the meatballs, lamb skewers, potatoes in garlic sauce, shredded beef on toast and the burger. All were wonderful.
The burger was my favorite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great atmosphere right on the beach (Praia do Luz). Lively music, friendly staff, and great tapas. We had the pulled beef, crispy salmon, Moroccan pork (skewers), and the salada azul.
