 Very nice owner and very tasty pastries. It is definitely worthwhile to sit down for a coffee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dopo una stupenda cena nel pressi di Bolas, ci fermiamo per prendere un caffe e naturalmente una Pastel ( credo la 8/9 della giornata) in questa pasticceria molto carine e ben presentata dall’esterno.
Il proprietario è stato super gentile nel spiegarci che è una attività di famiglia e che il pasticcere (suo genero) fa delle pastel incredibilmente buona (posso assicurarlo, oramai mi reputo un intenditore di pastel,, in 10 giorni credo di averne mangiate 70/80) e ci spiega passo per passo come questo tipico dolce è entrato nello spirito degli abitanti, ci consiglia una versione particolare con il cocco, che suo genero fa oramai da tempo, l’assaggiamo e senza togliere niente alla pastel tradizionale la pastel al cocco è veramente incredibile, il cocco si sposa benissimo con la crema all’uovo, straconsigliatissimo questo posto !!
After a wonderful dinner near Bolas, we stop for a coffee and of course a Pastel (I think 8/9 of the day) in this very nice and well presented pastry shop.
The owner was super nice in explaining to us that it is a family business and that the pastry chef (his son-in-law) makes incredibly good pastels (I can assure you, now I consider myself a pastel connoisseur, in 10 days I think I ate 70/80 of them ) and he explains step by step how this typical dessert got into the spirit of the inhabitants, he recommends a particular version with coconut, which his son-in-law has been making for some time now, we taste it and without taking anything away from the traditional pastel, the coconut pastel is truly amazing, the coconut goes very well with the egg cream, highly recommended this place !!
