★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are into wildlife or just fancy a walk its a great place to visit. I go every time I'm in the area. Over the last few years there have been substantial improvements to the footpaths and a new bird hide has been built.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely circular walks which change significantly with the seasons... Half the walk is by flooded Meadows in the winter/spring which completely dry out in the summer. The other half through beautiful Cork Oak woods. There are a couple of hides to watch the prolific birdlife, especially on the floods in winter (bring binoculars!) and a covered picnic spot where you can collect owl pellets to dissect later! Always worth the walk...
