★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is undoubtedly a great place for real Portuguese barbecue style cuisine. Enormous portions, excellent ingredients and everything grilled to perfection. Vey reasonable prices. Portions are big enough for two people. Very well impressed. Service is casual Portuguese style which can come across as abrupt to some cultures, but it's genuine and sincere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been to this neighborhood restaurant at least 6 times in the last 10 years and am never disappointed. Cosy but functional interior. Service is friendly and efficient. Standout feature is the quality of the food, both meat and fish dishes. Portions are large and can feed 2 people thus prices are very reasonable. Not a fancy restaurant but highly recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good and varied menu. Friendly, efficient staff. Good wine list. Absolutely no parking nearby, and miles away from any public transport. Tends to get very hot inside, as the seating area is small and they serve various delicious meat dishes that you cook at the table on red hot stones. After a while, the room gets very warm, and, as most Portuguese restaurants do, the air conditioning is turned on when the fire alarm goes off...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I honestly wish I could give them 6 OUT OF 5! My favourite restaurant in Portugal. Honestly, the beef steak with mushroom sauce is beyond divine. I live in Carcavelos and I went there tonight but they are closed on a Wednesday - I was crestfallen. I've had the pork, the salmon and the rabbit all excellent but the beef with mushroom sauce is unbeatable. You may be tempted to save €3 by eating next door at the other restaurant... Its not worth it. The staff are wonderful and the location is quiet and pleasant. Please go regularly and soon!
