★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Tour.
The guide was very friendly and did a fantastic job. While the tour wasn't that long it was interesting and if you take the tour later in the day in either spring or autum you can take some nice pictures of the Douro River with the evening light. The tasting was also nice, we had the premium tasting which is a little more expensive but the wine you get is older and you also get extra chocolate. I'm not really a fan of wine but the white wine was good. The shop at the end wasn't cheap but if you liked the wine you can buy it there and take it home. Overall I can only recommend the Tour and you also get a discount if you own a Portocard.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our visit was very nice! We ended up having a private tour (as it was the last and we were the only ones) and Tiago, our guide, really answered to all our questions. And they were many, believe us :)
It’s a touristy attraction, indeed, but worth a visit if you have time. I don’t suggest to do it if you’re a wine expert or very knowledgeable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a delicious education! The tour of the winery was so informative that upon returning to the states I went to buy Portuguese wines that I learned about and tasted. A new appreciation for Port and still wines from the area have definitely broadened my knowledge about selecting, storing, pairing and tasting. A must do and beautiful views inside and out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Relatively quick but informative tour of the making of Port wine, capped with two shots of the house product. The guide was very funny throughout the tour and helpful when we tried to buy a bottle to go. All in all the guide was good value, but not super interesting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the wine tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we got to learn a lot about the types of port wines and the differences in manufacturing. The wines provided for tasting were also great. Would highly recommend the tour.
