Cacela Velha is a small whitewashed village situated on top of a cliff. Full of people and already missing the picturesque side of the village. But it's always a magnificent place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visita obligada cada vez que venimos al Algarve, una de las mejores playas que he tenido la oportunidad de visitar. Si el día de playa se completa con una visita a "Casa da Igreja" será un día perfecto. Diría que imprescindible.
A must visit every time we come to the Algarve, one of the best beaches I have had the opportunity to visit. If the beach day is completed with a visit to "Casa da Igreja" it will be a perfect day. I would say essential.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aldeia muito agradável e calma. A natureza no seu estado natural. Existem 2 restaurantes magníficos, mas temos que ir cedo para conseguir lugar. Gostamos principalmente do acesso à praia pela lateral esquerda da aldeia. É um acesso mais aventureiro ao estilo de um trilho com descida acentuada mas nada que não se possa fazer. Temos que passar por dentro água ( pelo joelho em certas zonas) para aceder à praia. Em caso de maré cheia poderá fazer o regresso de barco. Em resumo, um dia diferente bem passado.
Very nice and calm village. Nature in its natural state. There are 2 superb restaurants, but we have to go early to get a seat. We especially like the access to the beach from the left side of the village. It's a more adventurous access in the style of a trail with steep descent but nothing you can't do. We have to go through water (by the knee in certain areas) to access the beach. In case of high tide, you can return by boat. In short, a different day well spent.
