★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Much better than expected. The walk to the far side beach is worth it. It took about 20 minutes and the majority of the walk is lined with cute little Portuguese villas. There are miles of beach so easy to find secluded spots

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here one day solo & loved it so much came back with a friend. It is just beautiful its a pedestrian island & when you get the far side with the beach stretchs into the ocean from 2 sides its just beautiful.
The little beach huts along the way are perfect. Also local children selling their painted seashells is cute & locals selling the portuguese donut ball bun on the beaches. This is definitely worth a visit, so relaxing, there is hidden little windy beaches along the sides off the paths behind some beach huts, but id recommended going to the main beaches on the left.
